“American Cheese: Killers, Clowns and Stars,” is a nine-panel series which reflects on the contemporary political circus in America. the series grapples with the deep-rooted gullibility embedded in American culture—how readily people accept what they’re fed on social media at face value. The work also explores our obsession with cult figures and fame, as well as the immediacy of media, which often comes at the expense of authenticity.
